A Henderson, North Carolina native, Bro. Keith Hargrove matriculated at North Carolina Central University graduating with a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice and African American History and Certification in Mediation from Kennesaw State University. After being initiated into Omega through Tau Psi Chapter in the spring of 2004, Keith immediately immersed himself into service to Omega serving as Keeper of Records & Seal for Tau Psi Chapter. After graduation, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue his professional ambitions.
As Omega has always been a model for service, Keith joined Delta Mu Mu Chapter (DMM) in 2014 and immediately began working. He has worked on numerous committees such as Black Rhinos, Achievement Week, Ways and Means and Communications. Since 2016, Keith served as Assistant Keeper of Records and Seal for the Chapter and has led standards as well as producing the annual chapter report submitted to the State of Georgia. To that end, DMM was awarded consecutive Chapter of the Year honors for the State of Georgia in 2017 and 2018. This is a direct reflection of Keith’s Tireless efforts to the chapter. In 2018, he proactively spearheaded a ticket initiative centered on delivering electronic tickets for the Chapter’s signature events, Sundresses & Seersuckers and P3 reducing work and cost while increasing productivity and cash flow. Keith researched ticketing companies, contracted, implemented and served as the lead ticket system administrator which generated over $350,000 in revenue while eliminating physical ticket cost, time and labor.
Keith is a gracious and humble brother, always willing to lend a helping hand. He embodies each of Omega’s Cardinal Principles and is in the mold from which leaders are made. He is self-motivated, focused and hardworking with great determination, enthusiasm, and an ever-present positive demeanor.
