Fred Thomas III – Vice Basileus

Fred Thomas III serves as the Vice Basileus for the Delta Mu Mu Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. In his role as Vice Basileus, he is responsible for all Chapter Committees in the full and thorough execution of their respective duties and responsibilities.

Mr. Thomas’ professional background includes 10+ years of progressive experience in the field of Human Resources in the areas of staffing and recruitment, labor and employee relations, and workforce planning. He has served in multiple leadership roles including his role as the Deputy Director for Staffing and Recruitment in Human Resources and his current position as a Deputy Management Officer in the federal government.

Fred holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Bethune-Cookman University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Graduate of the Harvard University’s Senior Executive Fellows Program. He also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
